Our commitments 

Our team is partial to a hot drink throughout the day, we are currently trialling a second hand kettle which only boils the amount of water you use, it uses less electricity where it is only having to heat a small amount at a time.

One of the easiest changes we've made is switching to a renewable electricity supplier. This reduces the emissions associated with powering our office while supporting cleaner energy generation and a more sustainable future. The company we chose

Made a conscious effort to support local businesses. During September 2026, we visited and purchased from a variety of local independent businesses, helping to strengthen community connections while choosing local suppliers over larger corporations where possible.

We always opt for cloud based software and online meetings where possible too.

We have provided reusable water bottles to all team members, making it easier to stay hydrated while reducing the need for single use plastic bottles. Small changes like this can have a lasting positive impact on both our workplace and the environment.

We have a thermal blind up at the entrance door in the colder months to reduce heat loss.
We always make sure that our devices are turned off when we go home at the end of the day.

From hand soap to pens, we choose refillable products wherever possible. By reusing existing containers rather than replacing them, we reduce single use plastic waste, minimise unnecessary consumption, and lower the environmental impact of our day to day operations.

By completing Carbon Literacy training, our team has gained a better understanding of climate change, carbon emissions, and the actions we can take to reduce our environmental impact. This knowledge helps us make more sustainable decisions in our day to day work and empowers us to support clients on their own carbon reduction journeys.

Whenever we buy new technology we always look for a refurbished options first. One of our team members has recently brought a new laptop which is refurbished. Not only is it more cost effective but it reduces the need for unnecessary manufacturing of new tech and the subsequent carbon footprint of it.

Improving our office insulation has helped us reduce heat loss and energy consumption. This means less energy is needed to heat our workspace, resulting in lower carbon emissions and a smaller environmental footprint.

Our desks and office storage are second hand, extending product life and reducing the environmental impact of new manufacturing. It is important to us that we limit how much we put into landfill.

Keeping our office cool during the summer can increase energy consumption. By installing a sun shade, we reduce the amount of heat entering the building, helping to maintain a comfortable working environment for our team while reducing the need for cooling and lowering our overall energy use.

Plant based products often are made with bio degradable ingredients and reduce single use plastic waste. The refill options keep you from buying a new bottle every time you run out.

Meat production adds so much carbon to the atmosphere unnecessarily. When I completed an online carbon footprint calculator the food aspect made up 20% of my total figure.

Palm oil production is responsible for so much deforestation, Did you know 300 football fields of forest are lost every hour to palm oil production, subsequently making 193 species of animals endangered.

I will only buy items where needed, and to make sure they are made sustainably and from companies with good sustainability values.

Our planned improvements include replacing outdated roof insulation, installing solar panels, switching from an oil boiler to an air source heat pump, and adding blown-in wall insulation. Together, these upgrades will help lower energy consumption and reduce carbon emissions.
