I started my accounting career in practice, gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of clients while studying around life as a single working mum. It wasn’t always easy, but it gave me a strong foundation, along with the resilience and determination that still drive me today.

I now lead my own Limited company and take pride in supporting clients not just with their finances, but with growing their businesses and planning for the future. Alongside making accounting clear, supportive and jargon-free, I’m passionate about helping businesses take practical steps towards sustainability and carbon reduction in a way that feels achievable and relevant.

Jade

I joined Aim High in April 2025 as an Accounts Administrator after a varied career that has included engineering, a career break to raise my child, and a number of customer facing roles. Each step has helped shape the skills I bring to my work today, particularly when it comes to communication, problem solving and supporting clients.

Alongside developing my accounting knowledge, I've also enjoyed becoming more involved in the marketing side of the business. From helping shape website content and social media posts to supporting new projects, I'm always keen to learn new skills and continue growing my role within the team.

I've been part of the Aim High team for around four years and have loved every minute of it. Before moving into accountancy, my career was centred around customer focused roles, including working as a qualified dental nurse before progressing to Practice Manager.

Supporting people and staying organised have always been the parts of a job I've enjoyed most, so moving into accountancy felt like a natural next step. It turned out to be one of the best career decisions I've made and I've never looked back.
